Education:
- We use TeachTown as our core curriculum for Kindergarten students to provide engaging, individualized instruction that helps every child reach their full potential.
- TeachTown combines interactive technology with teacher-led, hands-on learning to build essential skills in reading, math, language, social-emotional development, and independent learning. Lessons are tailored to each student's unique strengths and learning needs, allowing children to progress at their own pace while receiving the support they need to succeed.
- Our teachers use real-time progress monitoring to celebrate growth, identify areas for additional support, and ensure every student is making meaningful progress toward academic and developmental goals. By blending evidence-based instruction with engaging activities, TeachTown helps create confident, capable learners who are prepared for continued success in school and beyond.
- At Empowerment Academy, we believe every child learns differently - and TeachTown helps us provide the personalized, inclusive educational experience every student deserves.

All Lower Elementary teachers (K–2) are required to hold, at minimum, a bachelor's degree, ensuring they meet Florida's standards for elementary education. These qualification standards reflect our commitment to providing every student with a nurturing, engaging, and academically enriching learning environment.
Parent Notification Regarding Special Education Services:
In accordance with Florida Statutes 1002.421(1)(j), it is important for parents to understand that parentally placed private school students with disabilities do not have an individual right to receive the same special education and related services that they would be entitled to if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). While Easterseals Empowerment Academy is committed to supporting the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities, these services may differ from those provided in public school settings. For more information on available services, please contact our administration.
Parent Involvement:
Easterseals Empowerment Academy understands parental involvement is a crucial component to the success of a child's educational achievement. We maintain an open-door policy and encourage parents to visit and participate in our programs at all times.
